Kitchen supplies are closely related to people's daily life, but in fact, they are likely to contain chemicals that are harmful to the human body, which are transferred during the contact process of food, thus endangering human health. At present, many countries in Europe and the United States have issued strict food hygiene laws and regulations, so products exported to these countries that come into contact with food must strictly comply with the requirements of these regulations.
Scope of testing products:
Bamboo and wood tableware. This kind of tableware itself is not toxic, but it is easily contaminated by microorganisms, so it should be cleaned when used. Painted bamboo and wood tableware is harmful to the human body and has carcinogenic effects.
Paper cutlery. It is a disposable tableware made of special paper, which can be thrown away after use without spreading diseases. However, thrown away paper tableware can pollute the environment. If burned as garbage, it can produce a carcinogen called dioxin.
Plastic cutlery. It has strong water resistance, but contains vinyl chloride carcinogens, and long-term use can induce cancer. At present, experts are trying to reduce the production cost of non-toxic plastics, so that non-toxic plastic products are rapidly popularized.
Glass tableware. Glass tableware is clean and hygienic, but sometimes "mold" is caused by long-term water erosion, and the sodium silicate in the glass reacts with carbon dioxide in the air to form white sodium carbonate crystals. Generally, mildew can be removed after washing with soap and other alkaline substances.
Ceramic tableware. This kind of tableware has beautiful appearance and crisp texture. It is generally believed that ceramic tableware is safe and harmless, but the color material of ceramic tableware contains toxic substances such as lead. According to relevant information, the amount of lead in ceramic tableware is related to the process of firing ceramics. Ceramic tableware with colorful patterns consists of three parts: blank, glaze and color. Because the color contains heavy metals, if the baking temperature is not appropriate, it is possible that lead, arsenic, cadmium, etc. may be dissolved out and harmful to the human body. But generally the patterns of these tableware are on the outer wall, so don't worry about this.
Iron tableware. Iron participates in the synthesis of hemoglobin in the human body and is an indispensable trace element in the human body. Therefore, the use of iron tableware is beneficial to health. But rusty iron tableware cannot be used, it can cause vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite and other digestive tract diseases.
Lead tableware. Lead tableware is often used, which is prone to lead poisoning. The symptoms are dizziness, fatigue, memory loss, abdominal pain, constipation, joint pain, and sometimes sweetness in the mouth.
Aluminum tableware. Lightweight, durable, inexpensive and good in quality. However, excessive accumulation of aluminum in the human body can cause arteriosclerosis, osteoporosis and dementia in the elderly.
Stainless steel cutlery. This kind of tableware has the characteristics of corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, but it will rust when it is stained by acidic substances or polished with sandpaper, fine sand and other hard objects. Before use, if you apply a vegetable oil film on the surface of stainless steel tableware and bake it on fire, you can prevent it from rusting and prolong its service life.
Enamel tableware. Enamel products are generally non-toxic, but this type of tableware is made of iron as a material and coated with enamel. The enamel contains lead compounds such as lead silicate, which can be harmful to the human body if it is not processed properly.
Copper tableware. An adult contains about 80 grams of copper. If it is lacking, it will suffer from arthritis and orthopedic diseases. The use of copper tableware can supplement the body's copper content. The disadvantage of copper tableware is that after rusting, it will produce "patina". Both patina and blue vitriol are toxic substances, which can cause nausea, vomiting and even serious poisoning accidents. Therefore, tableware with patina cannot be used.
Gold tableware. The gold tableware looks gorgeous and beautiful. When used, a small amount of gold powder on the gold tableware is often rubbed into the food and enters the human body, which can calm the nerves, strengthen the bones, improve the five internal organs, and dispel cold and cough.
Magnetic tableware. The use of a magnetic meal has a health care function, so this tableware is very popular.
