  The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued final rules 40 CFR 751.401-751.413, prohibiting products and articles from containing DecaBDE, PCTP, PIP (3:1), HCBD and 2,4,6-TTBP. These ones 


  Chemicals are persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic substances.


  These rules will be gradually implemented from March 8, 2021


  Commercially distribute any chemical substance, products or articles containing the chemical substance that have previously been sold or supplied to end users (that is, anyone who purchases or obtains finished products for purposes other than resale). An example of end users is consumers who resell products that are no longer used or donate to charities.


 Disposal of any chemical substance, products or articles containing the chemical substance, and commercial import, processing and distribution of any chemical substance, products or articles containing the chemical substance for disposal purposes.


 Commercial manufacturing, processing, distribution and use of any chemical substance, products or articles containing the chemical substance for the purpose of research and development.


Remarks:


  An article refers to a finished product:


1. Form a specific shape or design during the manufacturing process; 2. In the final use, its final use function depends wholly or partly on its shape or design; 3. In the final use, its chemical composition does not change, or only those It has nothing to do with the article, there is no commercial purpose composition change, and it is caused by the chemical reaction that occurs when other chemical substances, mixtures or articles are finally used. But fluids and particles are not considered objects, regardless of their shape or design.


  Product refers to a chemical substance, a mixture of chemical substances, or any object containing chemical substances or a mixture of chemical substances other than articles.
